About the Founder: Jackie of Comp-U-Train

Jackie’s journey began in the corporate world as an Executive PA, where she mastered Microsoft Office and developed a sharp eye for detail, organization, and communication. In 2003, driven by a desire to empower others with practical tech skills, she made a bold move — she left the corporate world to start her own computer training business.

She deepened her expertise by earning her MOUS certificate, becoming a qualified Microsoft Office Training Specialist. With this foundation, Jackie launched Comp-U-Train, offering personalised lessons to individuals in the comfort of their homes or offices. Her reputation for simplifying complex tech and delivering tailored support quickly spread, leading her into corporate training through word of mouth.

Today, Comp-U-Train serves clients from ages 6 to 86, many of whom have been loyal for over a decade. Jackie’s approach is rooted in personalised assessments, needs analysis, and simple yet detailed notes that make learning easy to implement. Her mission is clear: to place the customer at the heart of the business, building long-lasting relationships and helping each person feel confident and capable in a digital world.
