netplwiz command not working after changing to Windows Hello PIN
The “netplwiz” command which allows you to set your computer to automatically sign-in, doesn’t work when you switch to a Windows Hello PIN.
Unfortunately, the “netplwiz” command only works with passwords. The PIN adds another security layer on top of accessing your computer, so the “netplwiz” command doesn’t accept a PIN as the password.
You will need to go into the Users settings and disable the PIN option which returns you to using a password. After that, the “netplwiz” command will start working again to automatically log you into your local or Microsoft account.
