Have you tried to “copy” a file to another location on your computer by dragging and dropping and only see the option to “move” the file?
If you try to drag and drop a file from one folder to another and only see the option to “move” the file, then hold down the CTRL (control key) before you click the file to drag it. You will now have the option to move the file.
This happens if you are trying to drag the file to another location on the same drive for instance the C drive.
If you have another drive plugged into your computer and you click the file and drag it to the other drive you will see that it shows “copy”.
